Magellan RoadMate 2200T Car GPS Receiver

This may be the newest but I'm not impressed. My first 2200T was returned because the update on the website created a screen error on the 2200T. The screen shifted up making the unit inoperable. As a result, the update has now been turned off. What I dislike the most is the inability to update the unit with current directions. I also dislike the mapping highway mileage calculations. Rather than giving you one mileage calculation on your highway trip from entry ramp to exit ramp, example 35 miles from entry to exit ramp it calculates mileage between every single exit. Example, 2.1 miles, 3.9 miles, 4.5 miles, etc... This was confusing at first but I now understand their logic.

Also wrong directions are frequent. On a recent golf trip to Myrtle Beach (03/07) at the end of the exit ramp off 95 it told me to turn away from the beach and head further inland. Wrong!!!! Come on Magellan, I expected more.

I purchased my unit at Costco and I highly recommend this company. I love the service and purchase all my electronics at Costco.
