Obviously, everybody needs a memory card to go with a gaming system. It's not possible to enjoy games to there max without one. But who's willing to shell out the 37 bucks to pick one up? Especially after spending the 310 on the PS2 itself? No one really, but no one has a choice. Until I saw this bad boy hanging right next to the Sony package, coming in a more funky colored pack, it stands out...and down here you'll see if it's worth the less money.
Less Money Less durability?
Not here. I've had my ps2 since christmas, along with my memory card. Opening the simple packaging with neon coloring, it comes with a plastic holding case to protect from dust and other objects, and stickers to label it. Right there is a way to edge buyers to get there product, more stuff for less. Madcatz is learning quick....Not prone to crack or break, the plastic itself is not cheap. Holding 8MB just like the Sony card, it's transfer is quick and smooth. Loading is quicker than saving, and saving for the first time while it makes a file can take sometime(Especially in the newly ported game Code Veronica.)
It's definetly the better card out there, and for it's 9 dollar cheaper price, Americans have been raised with the liking to cheaper things. Hell, if it's almost a replica of a Sony Labeled product, why not save the dough. At 64 times the capacity of a stock memory card, the card carries eight MB of memory-enough to keep all your characters, vehicles, high scores and codes safe while you're at work. Comes in four colors, too! I saved money, you should to and not have to turn back.
peace!
