Nice! Better then Apple's power adapter

Pros: Lighter; cheaper; The cord is not as delicate as Apple's adapter

Cons: None right now

Sometime in February 2007, my Apple Portable Power Adapter was acting up big time. Also I own a PowerBook, Aluminum model. Sometimes I would have to struggle to plug the adapter into the laptop. Or sometimes it would fall out. Or sometimes the LED light around the head of the DC-connector that plugs into the Laptop would go off. Then finally eventually it wouldn't charge my laptop.

So thus my hunt for another adapter started. Getting ready to purchase an Apple adapter I stumbled upon seeing the price!!! Almost $80 for that thing. And then reading plenty of horrible reviews and experiences on the adapter on Apple's forum: from starting fires, etc. I don't think so.

During my continued search I was browsing through Amazon when I stumbled upon a reviewer who mentioned about Macally. I never heard of the company. So I went on their website and saw their own power adapter. And the price? $39.99. Sweet!!! So also on their site they provided links to companies who sell their products. Well a week and half on my lunch break I ordered my adapter from a company who was selling it for $10 less!

It's been way over a year since I've purchased the adapter, I couldn't be happier!!!
