Mercenaries is a mix between GTA and The Battlefield 1942 Franchise. A third person shooter that will take you into the heart of North Korea. You are a Mercenary That is plunked down to take on various Missions to Capture or Kill the DECK OF 52 Terrorist Villains. The Gameplay is straight forward with a map showing you your waypoints to the next objective. With the ability to blow up and hijack and use any vehicle or weapon, this title leaves you with open ended gameplay that never plays the same way twice. With a variety of ways to complete a task or mission objective, there is also plenty of replay value to be had. The Graphics are some of the best I've seen on the PS2 With The incredible added explosions that makes this game even better. The sounds are also top notch with air strikes and missile strike you call in on targets. If you ejoyed games like GTA and like blowing stuff up ,this one will have you losing lots of hours of sleep.
