The Bottom Line: For sound quality and loads of input option, you would be hard pressed to find a better PC speaker, especially for it's price.
I got this set on Nov. 6, 04 so it's almost 3 yrs old and in all that time I've never had one issue with it and the best thing is it still works like new. In fact I would even go as far as to say it sounds much better now than it did the day I bought them and it's probably because they're well broken in by now.
The satellites still sounds crystal clear, the mids are okay but the bass is where I'm most impressed with, even to this day. It is still capable of shaking the whole room when turned up past half-way, though I usually leave it at about 1/3 to 1/2 volume when in use.
I must stress that if you're going to get this set, make sure you have a decent sound card to feed it quality signal so you can use it to its full potential.
I use this strictly for PC only... mainly for music and gaming. For movies, I have a separate HT system in my living room just for that purpose although I did test one DVD on it and it sounds impressive to say the least.
After almost 3 yrs I still LOVE these speakers and I would not hesitate to get another set just like it should anything happen as I am way past my warranty period.
