Logitech 550 GREAT universal remote

My wife was tired of our ever growing pile of remotes so I went out and picked up the Logitech 550 to "hopefully" get it down to one remote. What I was expecting was an expensive remote with a complicated setup and plenty of tweaking along the way to get it just right. Boy was I ever wrong!! Complete set up took all of a whopping 10 to 20 minutes including installation and update of software. Once software is installed on your CPU you just tell the program what components you have and it automatically sets up the remote for you including preset "activities". The activities are things like "watch Dish network" -- you press the button it turns on your receiver, your TV, and puts the TV on the correct input/channel and off you go. I did have a problem when first setting up where it did not tune my TV to the correct input for one of my "activities" but it asked did everything work properly, I clicked no then all of a sudden my TV went to the correct input -- then the remote asks did that fix it?? Can't get much easier than that.

Great features and simple set up make this a great remote! I thought it was a bit pricey for a remote (however comparable units cost just as much), but it's worlds cheaper than having a Crestron or AMX system set up for your AV needs.
