Linksys or Linksuck?

This router is good for the low end computer noob. If my grandmother wanted wireless internet access then this is the one I would get her. It is easy to use and setup. It has incredible range as well. Yet if you are college student, a gamer, or anyone else who needs constant internet access, then this router is not for you. It looses connection to the WAN often, when I say often I mean at least 10 times a day. I can't keep the internet up for more than an hour before it dies and has to be reset. I have run an Ic Intracom router on the same cable modem and it has been up for the past 2 weeks straight... never having to be reset. The 54Mbps is a nice feature, but you are lucky if you get 5.4 Mbps with this router. Over all, this is a good wireless router for the total noob, anyone who doesn't need the internet often. For the rest of us, I would recommend another brand, possibly a d-link or, my favorite brand, IC Intracom.
