BIG car

The Lincoln Town Car is a big car. The ride in the town car is exceptionally smooth and easy to handle. I found the handling took a little while to get used to. The steering is extremely responsive and over steering could be a problem. The interior is big and roomy and seats 5 people very comfortably, a 6th person can be accommodated by putting three in the front, but it is not a comfortable position for the rider or the driver. I found the seat belt was a bit of a problem, if you are on the heavier side, you could find the seat belt latch under you. The radio/cassette has good tone and all the little extras, like the night rear view mirror, outside thermometer and keyless entry are nice touches. The trunk is extremely large and easily fits lots of luggage. The car seems to appeal to the older generation. Generally the car good pick up, fairly good gas mileage. This is my second Town Car and hopefully gives the service that my 88 did. Problems were nearly non-existent.
