doesn't work with xD cards either type M or H

Bought nice new Fujifilm camera which takes xD cards. Tried to use Lexar reader, got nothing.

Lexar customer service which confirmed that yes, the reader does NOT in fact read xD cards of the type M or type H variety.

Lexar also confirmed that they could easily fix the problem by replacing it with a reader that actually works but unfortunately they have very rigid requirements for proof that I had actually purchased their product (where IS that darned receipt?).

After a long exchange of emails with photos, serial number and my offer to return the unit to Lexar, they referred the problem upstairs. No further communication so far, maybe I should stop holding my breath and buy from someone else.
