excellent printer

This was a replacement for our inkjet printer. We decided that for simple home use we really had little to no need for color and being that laser printers have become affordable we decided to give it a go. Based on the positive posting here it seemed a good bet that it would be fine.
The printer didn't come with the cable but that was no surprise however best buy wanted over 30.00 and I know we could find it cheaper which we did at Walmart (16.00) Ok I know I could have gotten the same cable for like 5.00 on line but I simply didn't want to wait.
The set up was smooth and easy. The start up disk walked you through it all and simply couldn't be easier. Every tag you need to remove is bright green and that is much of what the start up disc takes you through removing.
The test page came through so quiet and fast I thought something was wrong. Several more pages were just as fast and just as quiet. I guess I had gotten so use to the clunky inkjet that i thought all printers made such a fuss. The size is also a plus. Very compact.
I would certainly recommend this laser printer.
