the rumors are true!
Pros:
good adjustable volume, excellent for texting, cool colors, sleek design, great all-around functions
Cons:
vibrate is really dull, often I can't feel it; camera has no flash.
The Bottom Line:
The LG rumor has nice battery life and is spectacular for texting. Unfortunately it doesn't vibrate strongly and the camera doesn't have a flash. I recommend it.

Author's Review
After being a Sprint customer for a few years I've been pretty satisfied with them and the phone I've been using, a simpler LG basic phone. After a while, it was time to renew my contract with Sprint, therefore I was given the option of getting a new phone! Right around this time, a commercial for the new Sprint rumor happened to catch my eye. Was it really as functional as the commercial boasted?
Heck yes! I love this phone. The buttons are large and easy to press. My favorite feature is the slide-open keypad for texting. That has made me such a speedy texter. I never get any rude impatient texts saying "you still there?", "so...?", or "did you get my last text?" anymore because I'm able to respond right away quickly. Plus the symbols are so much easier to access, which is nicer than looking them up in the menu, as most phones require. Also, it's easy to change the volume, adjust ringtones, set alarms, and pretty much anything you need to do. It auto-locks after 10 seconds or so, so you it won't press buttons in your purse or pocket by accident. This phone is conveniently small, even enough to fit in the super tight pockets of my skinny jeans, however, not small enough to lose it in your purse. It comes in quite a few colors now too! I have a lime green one. My mom has the white, my sister has the black, and there's also an orange one out too, I believe.
I like it a lot, however, there are some drawbacks. Sometimes the auto-lock feature is useless because while I'm sneakily texting at work, I stick it in my pocket right away after my text is sent, then proceed to lean on the counter and accidentally call my mom 3 times in a row (true story). So be careful that the lock kicks in before you put it in your purse or pocket. Also, the camera is useless in darker environments because it doesn't have a flash. Sometimes it takes blurry pictures, despite my really steady hand. Another downer is that the vibrate is really dull. Sometimes I can't even feel it in my pocket. This results in some missed calls and texts. It's really unfortunate to miss these things just because the vibrate is too soft to feel.
Overall, the rumor is a pretty good phone and I'd recommend it, despite the minor flaws.
