This is one fine Coffeemaker

The Bottom Line: Quality product, makes excellent coffee, sister-in-law proof carafe.
Review: I use thermal carafe coffeemakers because my sister-in-law has a habit of smashing the glass carafes in the sink. Purely by accident, she assures me but, she never does the dishes either. Go figure.

The Bottom Line: Buy it while you can, it's been discontinued. It works great, and it will last for years.
Review: The Braun Aromaster is about as good as it gets in auto-drip coffee makers. It is the Sherman tank of coffee makers. For around $20 you get a basic unit with a manual on/off switch, swing-out basket, and the only carafe I have ever come across that...

The Bottom Line: Steer clear of this unit, and thermal carafe coffee makers in general. Also, use common sense: don't brew coffee now that you intend to drink 3 hours from now.

Coffee snob meets her match in the Braun Aromaster

The Bottom Line: Turns out I didn't need advanced bells and whistles. All I needed was the Braun Aromaster's basic features to finally make great coffee at home.
Review: My name is Bugg and I'm a coffee snob. I regularly spend between $15 and $20 a week on Starbucks coffee. There. I said it. But it's just so darn good and I can't make good coffee to save my life! Really, I can't.
