You can't go wrong with this unit if you really want the good stuff but it will cost you. It pays to shop around since the price ranged from $160 and $215. I got mine for $160 which included free shipping and no tax. It took about one month to get it since it was not in stock due to popularity but was well worth the wait when I got a "good unit" (see below).
The first unit had several defects: 1) manufacturing defect: start/stop circular control was mounted upside down (i.e., text upside down), not worth my time to disassemble and correct; 2) manufacturing defect: convection fan was extremely noisy probably due to poor mounting at the factory and vibrated so much it was scary. This first unit shipped to me also was damaged from shipping, left side sheet metal chassis was crushed in slightly by 1/4 inch, thank you FedEx despite all the delicate handling warning labels. Digital photos were taken, unit was returned via FedEx to vendor, a week later a new one was received.
The replacement unit worked flawlessly, had no manufacturing defects -door sealed perfectly, controls mounted correctly, fan was quiet during convection setting, no crushed sheet metal chassis. Only minor problem was unit was slightly dirty on the left handle but was easily cleaned with soap and water. This is likely to due to my request that the replacement unit be inspected before shipping to me since I suspected that this unit may come from the same bad manufacturing batch as the first shipped unit.
Summary: always check your delivered unit for defects. Other reviews of this unit complained of front door having sealing problems -mine showed no door problems. Check for noisy fan and incorrectly mounted controls.
Conclusion: I would buy this unit again despite the flawed first unit shipped. Pick your vendor wisely since a defective unit may be a painful process. It is by far the best toaster oven I have ever owned -high quality, modern design, quiet confection fan, easy to operate controls, and very functional for cooking fish fillets to toast.
