I'm shattered...and so is the carafe!

Review: Coffee was good, timer worked great, looked okay...THEN EXPLODED! The glass in the carafe shattered after only 2 days of use and it had nothing to do with going from cold to hot. It just went boom into a zillion pieces while sitting in the dish rack...

Great product if you like exploding carafes and lukewarm coffee

The Bottom Line: Don't buy. Shoddy quality, and worse - pathetic call center / service.
Review: I received this as a gift, and was relatively happy with the machine, though coffee could have brewed a bit hotter.

Review: The carafe will shatter whenever you kitchen gets cold and you try making coffee with it and the carafe is not covered under the (Krups) warranty. I bought two carafes and each shattered within a month so unless you really like having ground glass...
