The Bottom Line: Forget expensive, bulky headphones. The Koss PortaPro delivers fantastic sound, plus they're light, inexpensive, and durable. Some of the best headphones every manufactured!

Good sound, ugly looks

The Bottom Line: At around $20US these have great sound for the price, but they have some serious design issues that might be a problem for some people.
Review: These headphones have been reviewed by audiophiles as being better sounding than many that cost twice as much.
They aren't as good of a deal here in Canada. They cost $60 Canadian while they're only about $20US. They're still the best sounding...

A Great Compromise

Review: These still amaze me. I bought them after searching the web for reviews of portable headphones with good bass. You can scour the web and the only negative thing you'll hear about these PortaPros is that they're not the most stylin' phones around...

Review: The sound quality of Koss's PortaPro headphones is indeed sublime. My first experience of these headphones was like having music seamlessly streamed into my tertiary auditory cortex. So it is no wonder that they are now the stuff of legend.

Review: I've been using my PortaPro's for 4 years now, and on a near daily basis they deliver rich sound with punchy deep bass, a good midrange, and excellent voice reproduction. Quite an excellent all around package that doesn't cheap out on any one sound...
