This camera is amazing! I have had only Sony digital cameras before this - I had the DSCs30, s50, F717 and then the latest, the DSCV-1. All were good. I read the reviews on this new Kodak and just had to try it. I went to Best Buy, picked it up and used it that day. Its AWESOME! It is so much easier than the Sony's to navigate while taking pictures. It has portrait and sports modes easily accessible on the front. Then one switch and you can go to like 15 other modes for indoor events, night shots, moving kids shots (which I use alot), snow/beach shots, etc. Its so easy and I love it! The picture quality is AMAZING!
I actually like the little dock that comes with it - you put your camera on there to upload the photos - and it charges it after its done uploading. I don't have to remember to charge it anymore because it does it for me. The battery life is 10x better than the DSCV1 Sony I have...that battery stunk. This one is great! I take millions of pictures of my kids, and I'm constantly turning it off/on then reviewing and deleting pictures. I have yet to have the battery run low on me. This is a great camera - I recommend it to anyone getting a digital camera. The 10x zoom is really what makes this one great - that's why I got sick of my Sony because I couldn't zoom in on my kids faces. Now I can, so I'm VERY please. Way to go Kodak - a great camera - great price with GREAT zoom!
