Product Review

Piece of junk

by   barbsopinion ,   Mar 13, 2009

Pros:  Pretty to look at.

Cons:  Please see above.  This is poorly engineered, and not worth half its price.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

Please don't buy this piece of junk.  It is so very expensive, and so poorly engineered.  I can not use the filtered water, as part of the tubing is external to the cooling.  Thus, the tube collects mildew and the water is impotable.  The bottom hydrator is for "hard skinned" vegetables and fruits.  It essentially turns everything into a shriveled mess.  There is a lever in the bottom hydrator drawer that moves each time I pull out the drawer.  The repair man finally glued it into place, and it continues to shrivel any contents I put inside.  If I put food too high and too far back on the top shelf, the food freezes.  The repair man came two times during the first year, and essentially told me there was nothing more he could do.
