Kidco Safeway Gate: The BEST Child Safety Gate on the Market

The good, the bad, the ugly...and the uglier

The Bottom Line: Buy this gate if you don't mind calling tech support and if you like holes in your walls.
Review: A while back, I purchased the KidCo Center Gateway, which is a pressure-mounted gate. So far, I love it, and since the KidCo Safeway Gate also got good reviews among the wall-mounted gates, I bought that to use at the top of the stairs.

Works for now

The Bottom Line: This might be the only gate that fits for you.  For top of the stairs, we feel it works well. 
Review: This gate was the only one that would safely work at the top of our stairs. It would be $400 to have the baby professionals install it, but my father-in-law did it for free. It took hours and was not easy. Imagine lining up little holes just right...
