Dream Dishwasher Come True!

I am so impressed with our new Kenmore UltraWash that I just have to tell the world. First, let me explain that we've suffered with an old, decrepit GE dishwasher for years. It has never worked properly, even when it was new, and my biggest complaint is that we had to thoroughly rinse all dishes before putting them in. Might as well just wash everything by hand.

Well, our new UltraWash Model #16714 is truly amazing! Everything comes out squeaky clean and no more rinsing by hand, just put the dishes in and press a button. Rather than the old knobs and dials which break off easily, the UltraWash has an electronic panel that is clear and easy to use. The whole design of this dishwasher is very intelligent, it's clear that form and function were carefully considered. For example, there is a great of deal of flexibility in the way the racks are put together, we have fold-down shelves for tiering small glasses and cups. The racks are adjustable and you'll also find fold-down tines for sitting larger items flat on the rack. No more jamming things in awkwardly. The silverware basket also has a compartment with a door for smaller, lighter items that get flown around.

This dishwasher is so quiet that I actually thought it wasn't starting properly. Our place is quite small and we couldn't turn on our old dishwasher just before going to bed because the horrible churning noise would actually keep us up. Well, this UltraWash is so quiet that you can have a normal conversation right next to it, no problem. No need to turn up the TV just because the dishwasher is on.

We did some shopping around and while you'll find cheaper dishwashers out there, I doubt you'll find the quality and performance of the Kenmore UltraWash. We paid 399.99 and delivery was free from Sears. We also liked the water miser cycle for saving water, might as well conserve wherever possible and for most dishes, it works great!
