can be bought off ebay for about $20
cheaper than the Kaito.

Basically the radio is probably one of the best
values for the money. Is has excellent receive
across all bands. It has continuous coverage
with tuning 1khz at a time. The scan works ok,
frequently skipping stations that can be heard.
