RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM KWORLD!!!

The Bottom Line: Don't waste your money. I wish I hadn't. Doesn't work, no support.
I have a Intel 865PERL motherboard with 3.2GHz Pentium, 1G ddr400 ram, 500MB harddrive space, BFG 6600GT video card, win XP Pro. A great system. But, this KWORLD hunk of garbage (Video Magician) absolutely refuses to function in my PC.
The card never gets recognized, no matter what PCI slot I install in. I even spoke directly to the application engineer at KWORLD who was of no help at all. My Haupage WinTV card works great.
This card is very frustrating. The drivers cause my system to crash if I manually force them to be installed. I have tried many different ways to set this up, but to no avail.
Updated to latest BIOS and drivers. Tried to get latest driver from KWORLD (shipped with 0.92 drivers (NOT EVEN REV 1????)). The latest driver is REV 1.0. Couldn't FTP it from their site, after many, many tries. Even tried the old style anonymous FTP. The connection dies after about half the download. I am on a cable modem where I can get about 20MB from most servers in a couple minutes. KWORLD looks like a third-world screwed up outfit to me.
I will box and shelf this piece of garbage (too long to return it). Then I shall purchase a Hauppage set up of similiar of similar features. Check the future for a new review of that product.
Also, tried in my kids systems (ASUS A78XE MB w/ AMD 2600 XP, 512 DDR400 dualchannel, XFX 5500 video card or 5700 video card.). They don't work with the video magician either.
