Pros: good taste, renowned brand, great for marguarita

Cons: if you don't like tequila, you won't like Cuervo

Anyone who knows tequila knows the name Jose Cuervo. It is synonomous with good tequila. I read an argument in another post about whether Cuervo Gold is the proper tequila product for marguaritas. For my money, there is no other tequila but Cuervo Gold for the best marguaritas!

Some tequilas have a really strong aftertaste that haunts your mouth, whether taking shots or enjoying a marguarita or tequila sunrise. Have no fear - Cuervo avoids the aftertaste, instead giving you a gentle dose of tequila flavor. It has a good kick, without the negatives that you find in a cheaper variety. This is a good tequila for the occasional drinker as well as the seasoned veteran.
