Love the Look of it!

I got this refrigerator in October 2005. I live in a fairly small and rather dark condo near the beach. So I especially like that it is WHITE with very attractive glass overlay on the front...and straight stainless handles. No plastic anywhere on the outside of it!!! Being a former French bistro owner, I love the professional look of stainless and have had stainless appliances in the past. I found they are hard to keep from getting smudges on them. THIS refrigerator is a breeze to keep looking spotless. The handles are the only thing that need wiping occasionally. (My kids are grown and married and living in their own homes). About the only thing I wish was different is that the shelves sit out about three inches from the back in the regular cooling cabinet for some strange reason (to allow for controls on the back maybe?)...which cuts down on the amount of space you have for storing things on the shelves. I love everything about the bottom drawer freezing compartment. It is very easy to find what you are looking for. I also love the French door opening on the regular storage area. Since my place is small, it is especially necessary to have doors that don't swing out too wide. It IS a pricey appliance. I did not want to remodel my kitchen to make it fit...so I kept the older original refrigerator as an overflow pantry and for storing craft supplies. I have the JennAir where a dining table would normally be placed and a wonderful 24" x 48" Boos chopping block island with stainless pot and pan storage above and stainless bar stools for two people to eat which extends my kitchen work space toward the JennAir fridge. This allows a tiny apartment-size kitchen to work for a gourmet chef on a "starving" artist's budget.
