Amazing Durability, Great Size

My boyfriend has used this backpack since he was in middle school, so he has used it for well over a decade, without any problems. It is surprisingly sturdy and well-built. There are multiple pockets (in the front) and a big pocket where you can store things like pens, calculators, keys, and your wallet.

He always prides in the fact that with this back pack, there is extra padding on the back (to protect yourself from the hard edges of those books) and also in the shoulder straps. You don't usually get the extra padding with the "kiddie" backpacks.

One thing we really like about this backpack is that the zippers don't zip all the way down, so if the zipper gets undone, it doesn't mean all of your books will automatically fall out. This is in contrast with my Jansport back pack, where all of the contents will fall out if it gets unzipped.

I'm not positive whether or not it is machine washable, but there's no leather in the backpack, so it seems like it should be machine washable, which means it will be a great back pack for middle and high school boys. He used it all through college as well, and it has continued to serve him well when he travels or goes to the library now.
