What a piece of JUNK! -- These are problem HDTV's

The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is to stay away from JVC products.
Review: After having my JVC HDTV for only eight months it was time to replace the light bulb. When I bought the TV the dealer said that the bulb would last about 2years or 6000 hours. TRY 800 hours and 8 months. Lucky for me it was still covered by JVC...

Bad Bulb

Review: Bought my set end of August, 05. Bulb already went out. Called JVC 1-800 number. Said I'll get a new one via Fedex in 3days. We'll see!!! Otherwise set has excellant picture. Don't like slow start up time, but not a big deal.

The Bottom Line: Decent set if you life in a dust free environment w/a steady cool ambient temperature. Oh, if you don't have a fluctuating power grid your tv might last 2yrs.
