Juicy

I bought my "Breville JE95XL Two-Speed Juice Fountain Plus" for $150.00 at my local kitchen supply store. I had originally gone to the store to buy the Jack Lalanne juicer after seeing it in a late night informercial. After comparing the two, the Breville model won hands down.  

It has a sleek silver professional look that matched my other stainless steel appliances.  It has a large three inch whole great for throwing in whole fruits and vegetables with out dicing them first.  It comes with a stainless steel micro mesh filter basket that strains the pulp. The pulp then goes into a large capacity slide out container. Another feature is the safety interlocking switch, it will stop the juicer from operating if the machine is not properly locked into position.

The 600 watt motor is very loud and scares most household pets. It is very powerful and sucks down the fruit in seconds. I have only had problems juicing leafy green vegetables. It seems to swirl around in the filter. I was very impressed on how much juice it extracted. The left over pulp was very dry.

It is fairly easy to take a part and clean, and most of it can go into the dishwasher. I would suggest washing the mesh filter basket by hand with the enclosed scrub brush. 

It came with a one year limited warranty, juicing directions, 40 drink and food guide, 1-liter juice jug and 2-1/5-liter pulp container, and a nylon bristle brush.

I would suggest taking the time to read the directions first. There is a list of foods you can and cannot grind on high or low power. By not following the directions you run the risk of killing your motor.
