The Iomega 250 will turn heads

Overview
This Zip Drive is in my opinion, the best Iomega has to offer. I've had mine for over a year now, and it has caused me no trouble. It can handle, obviously, 250 MB worth of data. The best thing is that with XP, it is straight plug and play, so you dont have to install any software if you dont want to. It also is USB compatible and pretty fast. Overall, you cant go wrong with this Zip drive. Zip drives are growing in popularity and will eventually replace floppy drives. This device is also relatively inexpensive, at around $100. I got three disks with my purchase.
Advantages of a Zip Drive
A Zip drive is very useful for college students. If you are doing a presentation, especially PowerPoint, then the file will probably not fit on a floppy disk. The next best choice is a Zip drive. More and more computers on college campuses are now featuring Zip drives for students. You can store anything on these discs, as long as it doesnt exceed 250 MB!!
Iomega
Iomega is a very reliable brand. The software that came with this Zip drive was easy to use and install. But, once again, you dont have to have the software. It is plug and play with XP. I think you have to have the software for Windows 98.
Downsides
There are two main downsides to this drive, in my opinion. One is the noise. Every time I start my computer, the Zip drive makes a lot of noise. Also, when you are copying files, it is noisy. The second complaint is that its sometimes slow to copy files from your computer to the Zip. If you have a firewire port, and a zip drive that supports it, it is supposedly much faster.
Final Reccomendation
I would highly recommend this zip drive to college students, business professionals, or the average home user. Sometimes, it takes too long to send a file over the net, and transferring to other computers can be confusing. If you do a lot of file transferring, a Zip drive is the way to go. You cant go wrong with Iomega, either.
