calico critters are great

We frequent a small local toy store that specializes in calico critter. Being that this is my first child I never heard of them before. My daughter loves the calico critters. She likes that they are pigs, mice, rabbits and kittys. We purchased the play school nursery and my daughter loves playing with this toy. I think it is great for her imagination and she really plays nice with this toy. It came with many accessories like the toy box and school desks. It is great that all the calico critter babies fits in the desk even if purchased seperatly. I guess I would only have a few complaints about this toy. I did not like all the small itty bitty accessories that are included. To me there is no need. You should omit that and include another critter, like a teacher. also I did not like how the sign and side rails and also the stairs to the roof all come off. It is so hard to keep play rooms neat and tidy when everything comes off. Plus there is a greater chance of misplacing the small pieces. Other than that I would highly recommend the calico critters to anyone with small children. I always put the small pieces in a bag and save them for when my child gets a little older.
