Author's Review
I saw this pram in the window of a baby boutique called Poco Ropa in Crowthorne, Berkshire. It was love at first sight! How wonderful it was to see a real beauty of a pram. I know all of the disadvantages as everybody told me again and again that I would regret how unpractical it was, the size, shape, material, yadder, yadder, yadder....
Yet, I stood firm and now own a pink and cream Inglesina Classica! Delivery took 2 weeks which mean't I could save up and dream of pushing my baby along in the sunshine. When it arrived two boxes my husband assembled it and we stood back and admired it. It is beautiful and everybody looks at it, and my baby, Evie, when we walk down the street.
Yes, I know it is big but it doesn't look like some sort of space age monster, yes its cream but criky thats got to be better than sludge grey or bright orange.
Evie loves it, sits up and gurgles knowing she is being simultanously adored.
I also have a much more practical pushchair which folds almost flat and is feather weight (my mother in laws final plug!)but there's no love there, just boredom!
I have no regrets in indulging myself with this pram for my baby girl, although the spending of £550 did make me get out with her in the fresh air come rain or shine, and I managed to lose a few pounds.
If I hadn't have bought it the world still would have turned but I wouldn't have had my dream pram and the biggest grin on my face when I pushed it.
