Still on the Tucson honeymoon

I bought a 2005 Hyundai Tucson on Saturday and immediately drove it about 200 miles the next day. I went into the dealership originally for the Santa Fe and the dealer asked me did I consider the Tucson at all. I was open to the idea and took it for a test drive. I was trading in a Chevy Blazer and what I noticed immediately was the smaller cargo area which I knew going in to look at the Hyundai. However, what I didn't expect was to have actually gained seating room in the back seat and across the car. The rear seating area allows for better leg room and elbow room than my blazer. The handling of the vehicle is responsive and I find the pick up to be fine. I bought the 4 cylinder which I have never owned nor did I ever think I would own because all of my previous cars have been powerful engines. So I was fully expecting in my test drive to feel a real sense of loss of pickup and acceleration. Surprisingly, the engine does what I need it to do when entering the highway. I think it has plenty of pockets for storage of items and the glove compartment is quite large. I love the large tail and headlights and find the Tucson to be VERY attractive. It looks remarkably like the BMW but at a considerably lower cost. My kids love the fact that the back seats recline if they want to take a nap without waking with a crooked neck. I could go on and on about the Tucson and what I like about it. Bottom line though is it is a great looking vehicle which comes in attractive colors ( I bought the sharp looking black one). With all of the air bags installed in this vehicle, I know myself and family will be well protected and the ride is very enjoyable. Great - PRICE, RIDE, ACCESSORIES, SAFETY FEATURES, WARRANTEE. Makes driving fun!
