High Maintenance, Noisy, and Leaks!

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this unit. It requires too much maintenance.

Works, but requires a lot of maintenance

The Bottom Line: Highly effective when clean and containing water! :) I would buy a Hunter unit with an automatic shutoff when the water is gone. This will make it last longer.
Review: I have had this humidifier over a year so I can attest to its durability.

The first humidifier lasted about 4 months then died. Hunter gives a 5 year warranty on the product, and it must be costing them a lot, especially on this unit. The...

Very poor unit

Review: This unit was replaced 5 times, mostly because of motor failure.  The company now refuses to replace it as it claims that it never received four of the five defective ones back.  They never would have replaced the others if that was true.  Stay away...
