Hotslings - Stretch Baby Sling/Wrap

My son was born a high needs baby. He needed to be held almost constantly and never enjoyed the baby swing or bouncer. When he was little I had an over the shoulder baby holder and it worked pretty well but I never quite got the hang of exactly how it was supposed to be worn. When he was about 6 months old, I traded one of my other carriers for a hotsling. I loved it immediately! It was easy to get on and to take off, it folded up compactly, was a great neutral color (so that dad could babywear too) and it made my life so much easier. Our favorite hold is the hip hold. It is the hold you naturally do when holding your toddler while walking around but the sling just gives you so much support and allows you to be mostly hands free. I love that I can just fold it up and pop it in my diaper bag. My son loves to be held when we are preparing dinner, shopping or just going for a walk. I have a bad back and this product helps to support the weight of my son so that my back doesn't get as sore. My only complaint is that the fit isn't perfect. I have to pull it down on my shoulder a little so that he is tightly enough to me to where I feel comfortable using my hands, although I usually keep one hand on or very near him for support anyway. I love this product so much thought that I am thinking about buying another one!
