Great for "white noise" in a kid's room!

The Bottom Line: It's a great, simple and inexpensive fan for eevry family
One of the biggest issues we had with our new house is that the baby room was right under the kitchen. We loved the rest of the house but household noise was an issue when it came to a good night sleep for our busy toddler. So we bought this fan not just to cool the room but to create some "white noise" fot our boy when he sleeps.
The Honeywell HT-800 Table Fan is a very simple basic fan. It's round, approximately 11.5 inches in diameter, comes in the color black or dark-brown. It has three cooling settings and very easy to operate.
OUR OWN EXPERIENCE. The Honeywell HT-800 was well worth the money. It cools very well. We hardly ever use any settings other than 1 (the lowest), and it's usually enough to quickly cool our son's little bedroom. It's a bit noisy (especially, on settings 2 and 3). First we thought that the noise is going to bother our boy, but it wasn't the case. The setting 1 seems to give us just enough "white noise" to comfort him when he is asleep.
It's great to be used anywhere in the house on a setting 1. The setttings 2 and 3 are way too loud for us. It's especially annoying when the fan is on, and you are trying to have a conversation. But if you need to cool a very big room, the last two settings are great.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this fan. And the price on it is quite modest too. Amazon sells them for about $18. We got ours for $15 a year ago.
