Author's Review
I am not by any means a computer whiz or anything of the like. I'm only writing this review because when I was looking for reviews on this laptop in the past their really weren't any. I've had this laptop 4 months now and thought I'd share my thoughts.

My Experience
I've been using this laptop every day for several months now. At first I had a bit of trouble getting used to the much smaller keyboard. After a while I got the hang of it. People with large hands may not ever be able to get used to it.
Screen
The screen is very glossy and sometimes hard to see if there's a lot of glare from the sun. The screen is also only just over 12 inches so text is kind of small. If you have poor vision, I wouldn't recommend this computer for you.
Operating System
This computer also has the new windows vista, which was easy to get used to. I've noticed however that Vista is slower than xp. However, it is customizable and many of the laggy features can be put away to speed it up. Don't buy this computer if your only intent is to install XP on it, because the webcam, mic, mouse etc won't work and there aren't drivers out there for those features.
Web Cam
The built in webcam works alright. You need to be in very bright light however or the video will appear quite dark.
Microphone
The built in microphone is pretty much a joke. It only picks up sounds if you're talking VERY loud. There is a jack for a headset mic however, so I hope you have one because you'll need it.
Finger Print Scanner
This computer also comes with a finger print recognition tool on the left side of the monitor area. It works alright but it's not that high quality and sometimes you have to swipe your finger over it several times to get a clear reading.
Speakers
This computer comes equipped with Altec Lansing speakers. I was excited about this feature. In reality, these speakers aren't much better than any other lap top speakers. Tinny sound and they don't get very loud.
Tablet
I did not get the tablet option on this computer, so i cannot comment on that feature.
Wifi and Internet Connection
Work well, no complaints
Mouse
The mouse area works well and has an area on the side to drag your finger to scroll down web pages. I like this feature.
Dvd Burner
Works well and burns dvd's relatively quickly. As for the light scribe technology (a built in system to burn labels for cd's and dvds), i'm not terribly sure as you have to buy special Dvd's for this to work.
Performance
This computer is fast and works quickly even when many applications are open at one time. It doesn't lag.
I've played many games with high graphic content as well and I haven't experienced lag.
The fan is kind of loud compared to the Macbook fan (a macbook is the only other laptop I've used) However, the fan keeps the laptop relatively cool (cooler than the macbook I've used)
The battery lasts for a couple hours. It uses more battery when using Microsoft Word than it does browsing the internet on wifi. However, it charges very fast when plugged in, and can go from empty to full charge in less than an hour.
Final Thoughts
I quite like this computer. It has a lot of features for the price and a large hard drive. It's not the best computer out there, but it's pretty darn good for what it cost.
