Awesome Purchase

Here's the Deal: for the money you cannot beat this system.  The specs are perfect for practical users and somewhat advance users.  Unless you edit movies for a living and host various websites this is your work horse.  I've had it for about 30 days - use it mostly for business and creating presentations.  It's quick and sturdy with multiple programs open.  The movements are crisp and smooth. Also with Vista 64 bit and 8gig Ram you can be a little comforted with the fact that it won't be obsolete for at least two and half years or more.
It has a TV Tuner - works great. It has an expansion bay - I'm not that sold on it but it's nice to have.  The 9340f is quiet ... that's cool when you're trying to concentrate on writing/typing ... or reading.  I downloaded  Explorer 8 (64bit) and I was whipping through web sites.  The wireless card quickly scanned my connection point ... and I was online in no time. I tried using some memory heavy programs - no disappointments there.  Before I bought this computer I had my eye set on a few other HP's.  In the end you could get more Hard Drive space (although getting more than 650 G is a waste of money).  You could get a slightly faster Processor (although unless you're a heavy gamer you won't notice the difference).  You could get more dedicated graphics .. but... I think you get my point.  Pay for what you need and throw in a few extra pennies and you'll probably have this system on your short list.
