Author's Review
Now,
I can't say I use this HP 825c to print out high quality photos of my dear kids. I have never tried, but have been told it could. What I use it for is flyers, letters, ebay print outs, etc. I like the fact you can put in a separate, larger, black ink cartridge. I have actually taken out the colored one, and only use the larger black. That way, when I print out delivery confirmation papers, etc, from online, I don't waste a bunch of colored ink, I just use the black. It also works GREAT on the draft setting. I print out delivery confirmation bar codes from the USPS on DRAFT, at 80% of size and they have ALWAYS worked! This uses about half the amount of ink. One cartridge lasts me a long time.
I spent less than $50 and have a printer that has not let me down yet. I have had an occasional jam. But compared to the Cannon I had before that cost me $200, this has been an easier and better printer. Ink can seem expensive if you do not know where or how to shop. But that goes with any ink on any brand. The HP starts right up, reads what I tell it to do, and does it. I have had very few bad prints, problem, etc.
If you just want a reliable printer for everyday jobs that is easy to install and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I recommend this HP 825c any day.
