fast and economical but with paper feed issues

Have used this printer extensively over the last few weeks and for value for money colour printing it is excellent however there are some real issues over the paper feed system - as many people seem to have found. In some instances the paper jams up when reaching the last few pages in the tray, or with fast printing (few lines of black text) the page becomes slanted. The HP website gives some hints on how to remedy this but it is clearly a design problem. The black ink head that was supplied wasn't 100% either. I found that adding a small piece of foam to the paper tray guide fixed the paper feed problems. I think hp didn't test this printer as much as they noramlly do and have been pressured to produce a lower cost priner at the expense of their usual level of quality.
