Good Features, but NOT compatible w/ other devices
Pros:
Great features, good design
Cons:
ONLY FOR iPAQ, despite what the say. No 3.5mm adapter.
The Bottom Line:
Search around. This product is only for you if you own an iPAQ. Even then, search around.

So I went on a mission to buy some Bluetooth Stereo Headphones for my Dell Axim x50v pocket pc. When I called HP, twice, both representatives assured me that the HP iPAQ Bluetooth Stereo Headphones would work with my Axim and any other Bluetooth device. And even though I informed them at the beginning of each call that this was purely for information, I was not ready to purchase, both
representatives became very pushy. "Well I answered you questions so why don't you place the order", was just an example of what they said.
After a little thought, I decided that this product was the one I wanted, so I ordered it from hpShopping.com so as not to have to deal with the pushy people. Needless to say, once they arrived I tried to install the drivers and pair the devices, but they were not compatible.
The interesting part is that while I installed the software, a message appeared on the screen of my pocket pc "...only for iPAQ..." You would think that HP tries
there products so that their employees have correct and educated answers for customers. Instead, they tell you what you want to hear whether right or wrong.
The only good side to this story is that technical support and the return department were very understanding and quick to respond (not including holding for several minutes). Tech support did say "if it said iPAQ only then I do not think it will work with our device." Thanks for the update.
If you have an iPAQ, these headphones probably rock. If not, don't buy them no matter what they tell you. Logitech makes the same headphones but not with as many features. However, with the logitech, as well as many other BT Headphones, you'll get a 3.5mm jack adapter. Making the headphones REALLY compatible with any device you can wire up. This adapter does not come with the HP headphones. I believe it is possible to use the Logitech and others without the adapter if your device has a Bluetooth radio installed, I hope, and I'll let you know after I buy them.
