The Bottom Line: An intelligent, unforgettable film that stands on its own, but is also noteworthy for the clever minimalist way director Mann brings heavyweight actors Pacino and De Niro together.

"I am alone, I am not...lonely"

The Bottom Line: A true crime epic, containing some of the best acting ever. This is Mann's best movie, one of my all time favorites, and one of the 90s best films.
Review: Michael Mann has quickly become one of my top five favorite directors. Many would say it's his great visual style, others would say it's his rich characters and stories. You might praise the simple fact that he gets the best actors around to fill in...
