Be leary

The concept is nice and once it get working it does well but I had significant problems setting it up.  I followed the instructions to configure it via a wizard while it was connected to a computer via the rj45 connector.  This worked well the 1st time.  However when I went to reconfigure it to use another wireless network it stopped being able to scan the network and the rj45 (ethernet) jack started chattering which dropped my network.   When I contacted tech support they tried to blame the chattering on my cisco router but when asked for a list of compatible (or incompatible) routers he became vague and evasive, stating that it happens all the ime.  WHAT?  The tech actually stated that they dont recommend using the ethernet jack even though it is in the instructions and that the chattering as "not a problem" and that the unit was fine.  Well it might not be a problem for them but having my network disabled by a broadcast storm is a problem for me.  I had bought two so I set up the second one (without any tech suport, thank you very much).  The second one required a lot of resets but I got it working.   I am still very concerned about the unit and am watching it like a hawk.  I guess thats where the name comes from.
