Great Camera, OK picture

The camera itself is easy to use and small. It seems to be made well. The picture quality on the viewfinder is outstanding. Finalizing the disk was very straightforward and playback was no problem. The sound when playing back on the camera itself has a lot of noise (possibly from the camera itself), but when playing back on a 23 inch television the sound is amazing. Unfortunately, the picture isn't very good on the television. Even with good lighting, there just aren't enough mega pixels to give a good quality picture. It is similar to taking a small picture and trying to use it as a background on a computer. There is fuzziness around the edges, particularly if the subject is moving (like a small child). I took some pictures from a 3 mega pixel camera just to make sure it wasn't my tv or dvd player, and those displayed just fine.
Overall I am impressed by the camera, but I have returned it and will probably buy the dvd403 as it is a 3 megapixel camera as opposed to this 1 megapixel model.
