A guide for stormy lives

The cost for a one year subscription to Guideposts (12 issues) is $12.50, a small price to pay for the wealth of joy and inspiration provided by this magazine. My father began receiving Guideposts when he joined his present company six years ago. Since then, I have enjoyed the myriad stories that Guideposts has presented to we readers.

Features
This small magazine (about five inches by seven) and fifty pages long contains about a dozen (give or take a few) relatively short, inspirational articles. Along with these, it contains features such as "The Power of Prayer" and "God's Mysterious Ways." By presenting stories of miracles that have happened to fellow Christians (and non-Christians alike), Guideposts is a shining light in the dark times of life, showing that God is indeed always in control. By presenting inspirational and heart-warming stories, Guideposts helps you regain your faith in the overall goodness of humanity and encourages you to "fight the good fight" and "keep up the faith." Whether the story is about kindness, miracles, or salvation from people or nature, these articles are guaranteed to lift your spirits and buoy you in times of weakness.

Personal Experiences
As someone who enjoys stories of miracles more than simply "inspirational" stories, nonetheless, I find myself enjoying all the articles in Guideposts immensely. As soon as I get each new issue, I drop whatever I'm doing and clear my schedule for the next hour and read. This magazine has given me insights into Christian living and has repeatedly anchored me in the Christian faith when times were difficult.
