Product Review

good system

by   cielo346 ,   Jun 20, 2008

Pros:  Very safe and sturdy

Cons:  Bulky, awkward on the bus.

The Bottom Line:  This is a good stroller for a suburban mom who just uses it while walking around the neighborhood, but if you need to go somewhere it's a pain.

Overall Rating: 3/5 stars

Author's Review

I really like this stroller. It feels very sturdy and reliable, which I really appreciate. It's a little on the heavy side, but I think that's a fair trade-off considering how safe and secure it keeps my baby. This stroller is built like a tank.

It's pretty easy to store, too. It folds up when you twist the handle (I don't think you would be able to accidentally fold it up while using it, however). I keep mine laying on its side under the dining room table when I'm not using it.

The seat is also very easy to adjust, and it can be adjusted to accommodate different sizes of babies. My baby is still very small, but I imagine that a 30 lb baby would still be very comfortable in there. I also like how long the seat is when you lay it all the way down flat. I put my kiddo in there for naps and he can stretch out very comfortably.

The steering is pretty decent as well. It takes corners well and I don't find myself having to strain my arms too much when I walk. It's a little too heavy to take on long trips, but we make it to and from the grocery store without a problem.

My only complaint is that this stroller is a little too bulky to be used on the bus. It folds up quickly and easily, but it's just so big and heavy that I tend to feel that it is easier to walk than to try to get on and off the bus with a baby in carrier, plus a stroller, plus a diaper bag. I just use my sling for trips to the doctor and such, it's just too much of a hassle for me.
