August 30th, during the employee discount, my husband and I decided to purchase our second Yukon Denali. This time we chose the upgraded wheel package, the backup camera, Navigational system, the DVD player and other extras. We couldn't be happier. We are tend to feel a little classy, yet from the outside, we look sporty. We are not old and don't want the family look of the van or even some of the other SUV's. Good fit for the early to middle aged group, that's us! You don't know what you've missed until you get it!!

FEATURE DISCUSSION...
It is so nice to be able to type in an address and listen to the Navigational system tell you that you will be in turning soon and when to turn. It is hard to get lost now. In a big city, you can see several streets on the screen at one time. This makes it easy to see how to get to the street you need to get to just by touching the screen, you can visualize where you need to go.
3 months ago, I had backed into a friends car parked along side of the street as our double lane driveway packed with cars kept me from seeing hers. With my backup camera, it is easy to see everything behind me when normally I cannot.
I think the long and the short road trips that we take are now much more exciting when we have the option to watch movies with the DVD Player. I had always been bored on our family trips to Alabama because my husband always drove and I had nothing to do. Now we fight over who is going to drive and who will watch movies, we love to do them both! So, now we actually switch back and forth and get to do both.
The leather interior is great for animals and kids. Dog hair is easily vacuumed and messes wiped away. It has plenty of room for loading the family to go anywhere without buying the XL version. Believe me, you can pack this buggy full of stuff and it never squats or lugs under pressure. Plus, it lets me know when I need to change my oil through a percentage system. We also purchased the diagnostic package. At anytime, we can call through onstar and have them do a diagnostic before taking a long trip. This is much more cost efficient then going to an express or dealership mechanic and can be done while filling your tank!
Finally, the powerful Vortec 6000 engine definitely excites my husband and makes this SUV get up and go. For me, it is the heated seats that rule as he likes it 10 degrees cooler than I do.
If you take road trips, whether business or pleasure, this is the way to go...and feel safe.
