Wow! What a great low impact workout with George Foreman!

Here's a brief quote from the dvd box:

Have you done Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds? Same idea -- just George instead of Leslie. George does the routines, but the champ here is really Petra Kolber, fitness expert.

A group of "friends" as George calls them are in George's Gym ( again, similar to the Sansone set ) along with George and Petra -- not all models, not all thin, not all in great shape, which is a big plus to me! George and Petra do all the talking. it is basically a walk at home workout, but has some strength training thrown in. The workout itself is 30 minutes, and includes a warm up and a cool down.

The basics -- or the Foreman Foundation, as they are termed -- are walking in place, sidesteps, and a 3 step forward/ 3 step back combo. You always go back to walking in between other exercises. The strength training includes squats, hamstring curls, and lunges.

If you are an uncoordinated soul -- like me -- this is a perfect workout. No matter how clumsy you are, you can walk in place and do sidesteps. It's easy to catch on to and to keep up with. Unlike the Sansone tapes, you need no extra equipment --weights, etc. - just you and the tape. YOu also don't need much room! This can all be done in basically the same spot -- with the exception of the 3 forward/3 back - which you can walk in place through if you ened to.

George and Petra are happy, cheerful, and energetic -- but no so much that you want to shut the TV off. The music is there for the beat, and you'll find yourself singing "Everything's gonna be alright" along with it - since it is not too up-tempo that you cannot breathe.

30 minutes is enough of a workout for me -- I find that I sweat when I do this -- and I certainly saw results very quickly.
