Author's Review
I love this thing! The George Foreman GR30 Indoor Grill is a wonderful product. (Even as I write this review, it is being used by my roommate). The grill itself is a simple and compact design that fits fine in my kitchen. To use the product, you simply plug it in, put your food on it, and close the lid. Yep, that's it! Cooking time is about five to fifteen minutes depending on the meat and your preferences. I have personally used by Forman Grill to cook everything from grilled cheese sandwiches to shrimp. A drip tray is included in the box if your food is greasy enough to drain off the grill (but many meats do not).
The only complaint I have about the George Foreman is when it comes to cleaning. Cooking meat is sticky business, so a cleaning is required after every frying. I am tempted to put the grill in my sink, run water on it, soap it up, and run water on it to rinse it off. I cannot because of the electrical exposers. Instead, I must I take ten minutes to implement a damp rag and elbow grease. I wish the product designers allowed for the actual grill trays to be removed so i could sink 'em. The removable trays could have even been made dishwasher safe. Maybe next time, George.
