Looks Great, could use more BTU's on main burner

We never saw an actual demo model of this cooktop, but were pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The all black model is really a great looking cooktop and an economical solution for those that need a downdraft. It lights quickly and the interlocking grates come off easily for cleanup. This model does not have a well for each burner, but a flat surface that makes wiping up spills quick and easy.

We did not want the little speckles that many of the black cooktops have and unfortunately this one does have speckles, but they are not conspicuous and would not have changed our decision had we seen a demo model.

The only negative that some may want to evaluate is the BTU output on the main burner. The highest output BTU burner on this model is 11,500 BTU's. As a result, it takes longer to boil water in a full 5 QT pot than on our previous electric cooktop. You need to allow at least 10 minutes. If you cook lobsters in an even larger stockpot, you will definitely need to give yourself enough time.
