The Bottom Line: I recommend this machine. I was concerned about buying a stack until I read Epinions & I agree that this stack washer/dryer really "stacks" up!
I bought this machine b/c of all the good reviews here on Epinions. I reiterate all that has been said thus far. It is quiet, efficient, holds a lot of clothes, uses hardly any water, gets the clothes amazing clean and the price is "do-able".
With the energy rating it has, we were able to get a $75 rebate from our electric company so check into that!
I love the option for the extra rinse because I've always done a double rinse on my white loads. And the option for an extra fast spin cycle is great for that load of jeans or towels. I would image you'd be saving energy there just in how much time is required to dry those types of loads.
What I don't understand is why they give you a selection to have any extra rinse, or fast/slow spin, or have the dryer continue to fluff for a bit when the cycle is done, YET they don't give an option to say yeah or nay to whether you want to use the buzzer or not. I know it's a great thing to have at certain times, i.e. clothes that must be hung right away but geeeeeeezzzzzzz this buzzer is loud! So much so that you feel like you're going to jump out of your skin if you're not prepared!
I hope Frigidaire looks at these to ideas for improvement b/c clearly, everyone feels the buzzer is too loud.
