Taxi

I am first to admit that the idea of driving a mini van sent shivers up my spine, but after having it for jut 2 weeks I can really look back and laugh at my stupidity.

The van has so many features that come in so handy its hard to figure out where to start first. My favorite feature of all is the automatic sliding doors. I have a 3 1/2 year old son and getting him in and out of our jetta is a real treat. He is so squirmy that having the auto sliding doors is awesome. I can be at the grocery store press the key pad for it to open, then pick him and my groceries up and walk over to it drop the groceries off set him in and off we go. My wife who also has very bad back problems makes great use of the doors as well. She cannot lift my son so the doors make it easy for her to get him in and out. Another great feature is the folding seats in the back for extra storage. All you do is pull the lever on the side and the two middle ones fold down, then go to the back(its a lil trickier, but still easy) and put them down and you have tons of room for extra luggage etc. Also a neat lil thing is when you turn your blinker on there is a lil side light that lights up the curb you are turning near, comes in real handy in dark areas in case there is a pedestrian you didn't see or in my case a dear. The seats up front are very comfortable and are electric so they have many different heights and angles to choose from. The van isn't that great on gas but what mini van is. We put $80 Canadian in it and it goes about 500 plus kilometers. It has good pick up for getting on to highways or out of sticky situations. I also really like the look of it compared to many mini vans, very sleek and sporty. We bought a dvd player for my son and the headrest on the driver side works very well for it, nice height and distance for my so to see. All in all it is a great buy, allot of car to wash but worth every penny.
