Author's Review
My husband and I own a 2004 Ford F-150 Full Size Pickup Truck. Our truck seats 5 comfortably, but will seat 6. It has 2 airbags in front, and one on each side in the back. The truck handles very nicely, and hugs curves tremendously. My husband says he likes to drive this truck more than he likes to drive a car, because it makes him feel like king of the road. He likes to sit up high, and this truck does make you feel very secure on the road. It accelerates, and picks up speed very fast, and is easy to drive, even for a woman. I have never liked driving trucks, but the Ford F-150 is a great truck for anybody to drive. Despite the old sayings of, "Fix or Repair Daily," or " Found on Road Dead," the old euphemisms for Ford's letters. We have never had to have this vehicle serviced since we had it. We change the oil every 3000 miles as required, but that is the only maintenance. Ford vehicles keep their lustre for many years down the road. We keep it washed and the seats are so easy to clean, even though they are made of some type of cloth. There is a bit of a wait to get heat in the winter, but not the air conditioning in the summer. If you want a vehicle that you don't have to worry endlessly about, then, the Ford F150 Trucks are the way to go.
